My love of living an active life has lead me to a love of coaching others. I am available for specialized personal training at San Francisco CrossFit.
My number one goal is to help my clients find an truly effective active lifestyle. One that goes beyond simply burning calories and building muscle but also improves flexibility, balance, and function. Reduces everyday aches and pain, corrects posture and teaches skills. We do this through learning skills in various domains of movement including: CrossFit, functional movement, gymnastics, power lifting and Olympic lifting.
I can help you:
- Find a consistent and sustainable physical practice.
- Determine how much you should workout, in what manner, with what tools given your situation and goals
- Complement your existing training with strength, mobility and skills
- Learn proper technique for the tools strength and conditioning: calisthenics, running, rowing, power lifting, Olympic weightlifting, gymnastics (floor, bar, rings), kettle bells, and dumbbells.
- Overcome chronic injury: joint pain, muscle pain, and joint instability. I specialize in severe conditions: limb loss, spinal cord injury, neurological conditions, cancer, etc.
I am a CrossFit certified trainer. I have trained under physical therapist Dr. Kelly Starrett for functional movement and mobility, Carl Paoli for freestyle gymnastics, and Diane Fu for Olympic Weightlifting.
